Forever vs Classic is an independent, non-commercial fan site. It isn't affiliated with Blizzard or Wowhead. For anything about this notice or your data, email contact@forevervsclassic.com.

Nothing directly. There are no accounts, forms, comments, analytics, adverts or tracking pixels. Searches are used only to find results and aren't stored.

We don't set any cookies.

If you use the Item View switch on an item page, your choice (“Current” or “Diff”) is saved in your browser's local storage so the next item page opens the same way. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser. Because it only remembers a setting you picked, it doesn't need consent under the UK's cookie rules (PECR).

Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it handles each request and processes technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the page asked for, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs. Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Wowhead supplies item icons and, on computers with a mouse, the hover tooltips. To show them, your browser loads files directly from Wowhead (wow.zamimg.com and nether.wowhead.com), so Wowhead receives your IP address and browser details in the same way. We rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for this: running and securing the site and showing the game data it's about. Cloudflare may process this data outside the UK under the safeguards set out in its policy.

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. In practice we hold nothing that identifies you, but you can still contact us at the address above. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
